Along with Thierry Henry, Ian Wright is another one of those players who have made their marks in Arsenal for everything that they have accomplished during their playing career.
Ian Wright is no longer playing in the pitches as he retired some time ago but continues being up to date with everything in the world football as the Englishman went on to become a punter and he has recently gone on to talk about and give praise to Manchester United’s Lesse Lingard.
Lesse Lingard is a 23 year old player who made his way through the youth academy of Manchester United and after having been offloaded from a number of loan deals, the young player has recently shown his worth in the big stage as has performed in a number of matches with the main team and Ian Wright is certain that Lingard has a promising future lying ahead.
“Throughout the trials and tribulations that have been Manchester United’s season, one thing stood out they always have a player who’s come through the ranks. There’s an incredible stat that Manchester United have had a youth product in their first team squad for league games at least in every game for nearly 80 years. While the current crop are a world away from that Class of 92, Jesse Lingard isn’t doing too badly this season. He’s proving more than up to the task of handling life at United.” Ian Wright said.
Jesse Lingard really managed to stand out during Manchester United’s match against Chelsea back on February 7th when both sides met and faced off on Stamford Bridge and the scoreboard displayed 1-1 at the end. Jesse Lingard scored the only goal for Manchester United as he slipped the back into the net of David de Gea after launching a superb half-volley.
