The Gunners have since been linked to a couple of clubs within and outside England's top-flight, with reports claiming that they are also expecting some departures in the summer. Wright has said that regardless of the list of transfer targets the club have already prepared, they should find a way to add Yves Bissouma to the list as he believes that the midfielder would be a top signing for the Gunners.
According to Ian Wright, the workload and the creative burden on Nigerian-born England international Bukayo Saka is too much. Ian Wright also mentioned other Arsenal players like Thomas Partey and Emile Smith-Rowe. Ian Wright pointed out that both Smith-Rowe and Parteywent off withcramp during the Southampton game which ended in a 3-1 victory for the Gunners.
Ian Wright was speaking to Premier League productions shortly after the game played at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening. The ex-England international was visibly not happy with the display from the Arsenal players as the club slumped to a third consecutive league defeat at home following the 2-1 loss to Wolves.
The Gunners lost their second straight game since the league resumed. They had crashed 3-0 to Manchester City but the game against the Seagulls was expected to end in victory. However, goals from Lewis Dunk and Maupay cancelled Nicolas Pepe’s earlier goal.
